Class Descriptions

Basic Yoga

Teaches the basic principles of yoga, alignment and breathing. Ideal for students new to yoga for building a solid foundation; beneficial for all yoga practitioners.

Hatha Yoga

Combines pranayama (breathing exercises) and specific asanas (poses). This class consists of Surya Namaskara (sun salutations) and a variety of classic poses held for several seconds. We conclude with 10-15 minutes of relaxation; sometimes guided yoga nidra, which deepens the relaxation and increases bodily awareness. This class is suited for everyone including beginners as there are progressive variations of each asana.

Restorative Yoga

Relax and renew in this slow paced, restorative yoga class. Appropriate for all levels.

Joyful Yoga is a yoga practice built to create your personal intention with breath and movement.  This class provides all levels of student a path to inspire more positive lifts in your life through focusing within, during and after your yoga practice.

Sun salutations are a regular warm up followed by a wide variety of poses to increase strength, flexibility, and balance. Yoga philosophy, meditation and breathing exercises (pranayama) round out this class. Appropriate for advanced beginners to intermediate students.
